National Preparedness
It’s important
to prepare for possible disasters and other emergencies. Natural and
human caused disasters can strike suddenly, at any time and
anywhere. There are three actions everyone can take that can help
make a difference … Click here

INSTEAD OF FLOWER BASKETS:
When it was learned that the
Town would not be hanging the flower baskets this year, due to the
overtime cost of watering them on weekends, art classes at the Klein
Middle School responded to the call of Lucille Held and painted
flowers on banners to hang from business district light poles. Our
thanks and congratulations to those students and their teacher,
Julia Long, for their efforts and artistry. Also, a special thank
you to Mrs. Held, for her original idea of getting the children
involved and for donating the canvass for the banners. We will
certainly enjoy and appreciate your efforts all summer long.
