  1. REPORT FROM SUPERVISOR BELMONT ON DECISIONS MADE FOLLOWING TOWN BOARD MEETING HELD ON OCTOBER 14, 2015

  1. ACTIONS AND RESOLUTION:

 

1.   Request by Village Engineer Michael Amodeo for Change Order #2 to the contract with Con-Tech Construction for work related to the 2013 Sidewalk Replacement Contract at an amount not to exceed $50,000.00.  Further authorization is requested for the Law Department to increase upset limit of the contract by $50,000.00 from $427,600.00 to $477,600.00.  Further authorization is requested for the Purchasing Department to increase PO #333240 by $50,000.00 from $427,600.00 to $477,600.00.  Funding for this change order is available in Capital Account #15HW07.

 

2.   Request by the Purchasing Department to award the bid for the Westerleigh Road Drainage Improvements to Con-Tech Construction Technologies, 28 Lakeview Avenue, Yorktown Heights, New York 10598, at a total net bid price of $171,475.00.

 

3.   Request by Commissioner of Public Works Anthony Robinson for approval to have the Commercial Garbage Program arrears and associated penalties added to the 2015 Assessment Roll.

 

4.   Request by the Purchasing Department to issue Purchase Order #353103 to John Deere Company, in the amount of $55,350.18 for the purchase of two (2) 1023E utility tractors.  The equipment will be purchased through NYS contract #PC66663.  Funding is available in the 2015 Capital Budget 15RP12, account #006-7140-100-98-70.

 

5.   Request by Deputy Village Attorney Christopher Cipolla to amend Village Board Resolution 2015 – 41 in connection with the request of Salvatore Corda, 1 Glen Park Road, Purchase, New York, to be removed from the Mamaroneck Valley County Sewer District to include  “The Town/Village of Harrison hereby certifies to the County that the parcel that is the subject of this resolution is not presently connected to a public sewer nor is located within one hundred feet of an existing sanitary sewer line and that the Town/Village of Harrison has no plans now or in the foreseeable future to provide a public sewer extension to serve the parcel that is the subject of this resolution.”  This is what the county is requiring from us so that the removal of this property from the county sewer district can proceed through the review process.
