A.  REPORT FROM SUPERVISOR BELMONT ON DECISIONS MADE AFTER THE TOWN BOARD RECONVENED FROM EXECUTIVE SESSION ON MAY 15, 2014

1.Authorization to appoint Charles Mascali to the Part Time Availability List for Court Officer at an hourly rate of $25.00, effective immediately.

2.Authorization to settle claim in the matter of Zeidel v. Town of Harrison in the amount of $1,600.52.

1.PUBLIC HEARING Re: Lincoln Lane Drainage District

D.  PERSONNEL:

1.Request by Town Engineer Michael Amodeo for authorization to attend a continuing education class entitled “State Plane Coordinate Workshop” in Nanuet, New York on Friday, July 11, 2014 at a cost of $269.00. Further, funding is available in the Engineering Department operating budget account number 001-1440-100-0415.

2.Request by Sal Gentile, Chief of Fire District #1, for himself and six members to attend the New York Chief Convention in Verona, New York from June 11, 2014 to June 14, 2014 at a total cost of $7,250.00 for food, lodging, travel, and convention expense. Further, funding is available in Account # 010-3410-100-0406.

3.Request by Chief of Police Anthony Marraccini for authorization for Police Officer Domenick Gentile to attend the 2014 Annual Training Conference for School Resource Officers from August 25, 2014 to August 29, 2014 in Syracuse, New York. Further, funding is available in Account # 001-3120-100-0415.

4.Request by Chief of Police Anthony Marraccini for authorization for Police Officer Thomas Milone to attend Motorcycle Safety School on June 13, 2014 at Lehman College, Bronx, New York. The cost of training will be $120.00. Further, funding is available in Account # 001-3120-100-0415.

5.Request by Superintendent of Recreation Gerry Salvo for authorization to attend the National Recreation and Parks Association Congress & Exposition on October 14, 2014 to October 17, 2014 to be held in Charlotte, North Carolina. The cost of registration and travel expense not to exceed $1,875.00. This is a budgeted item.

6.Request by Library Director Galina Chernykh for approval to hire Gregory Sohanchyk as a Part-Time Availability Clerk for the summer, at an hourly rate of $11.00, the work week not to exceed 17.5 hours.

E.  ACTIONS AND RESOLUTIONS:

1.Request by Deputy Village Attorney Christopher Cipolla for authorization for the Supervisor to execute the Stormwater Facility Easement and Maintenance Agreement between Congregation Emanu-El of Westchester and the Town/Village of Harrison.

2.Request by Burton Ward, General Manager of Century Country Club for approval to hold their annual Fireworks Display on Friday July 4, 2014, with a rain date of Sunday July 6, 2014, subject to approval by the Town Clerk, the Acting Fire Marshal and the Chief of Police. Further request the services of the Purchase Fire Department and the Harrison Emergency Medical Services.

3.Request by Comptroller Maureen MacKenzie for a Budget Transfer.

4.Request by the Planning Board for authorization of a Bond Release of the Life Time Fitness Performance Bond in the amount of $1,200,000.00.

5.Request by Superintendent of Recreation Gerry Salvo for authorization to accept a $500.00 donation from the Japan Block Fair for the Harrison Japan Festival.

6.Request by Old Oaks Country Club for approval to hold their annual Fireworks Display on Friday July 4, 2014 with a rain date of Sunday July 6, 2014, Subject to approval by the Town Clerk, the Acting Fire Marshal and the Chief of Police.

7.Request by Supervisor Ron Belmont for approval to set a date of June 19, 2014 for a Public Hearing Re: Franchise Agreement with Verizon New York Inc for cable services.

a.Request by Library Director Galina Chernykh for approval for Warner Bros. Productions to film exterior scenes at the Harrison Public Library for the HBO series “The Leftovers” on or around June 13, 2014. Insurance has been provided. Warner Bros. Productions will make a $2,500 donation to the Library.

b.Request by Supervisor Belmont for approval for Warner Bros. Productions to film exterior scenes in the Town of Harrison Parking Lot located at Park Avenue and Purdy Street for the HBO series “The Leftovers” on or around June 17, 2014 from 6:00 AM to 1:00 PM. Insurance has been provided. Warner Bros. Productions will make a donation to the Town of Harrison.

c.Request by Chief of Police Anthony Marraccini for approval for Warner Bros. Productions to park film trucks at Police Headquarters for the HBO series “The Leftovers” from June 10, 2014 to June 12, 2014. Warner Bros. Productions will make a $3,500 donation to be ear marked for spending at the Discretion of the Chief.
