A.  REPORT FROM MAYOR BELMONT ON DECISIONS MADE AFTER THE VILLAGE BOARD RECONVENED FROM EXECUTIVE SESSION ON MARCH 20, 2014

E.  ACTIONS AND RESOLUTIONS:

 

  1. Request by Village Engineer Michael Amodeo for authorization to enter a professional services contract with Langan Engineering for work associated with improvements to the Woodside Avenue roadway, at a cost not to exceed $39,000.00. Further requested for authorization for the Law Department to review the proposal and upon review, the Supervisor to execute the same. Further, funding is available for this contract in Capital Account #13DR06.

 

  1. Request by Commissioner of Public Works Anthony Robinson for authorization to hire two (2) part-time employees in the Sanitation Department, effective April 7, 2014 at an hourly rate of $11.00. Further funding is available in the Sanitation Department 2014 Operating Budget.

 

  1. Request by Purchasing Clerk Opal McLean for approval for the following purchase order, issued to McGrath Municipal Equipment, LLC:

 

a)Purchase Order #340998 for one (1) Falcon 3 Ton Asphalt Recycler/Hot Box Trailer at a total cost of $33,755.00

 

Further, equipment is being purchased under the National Joint Powers Alliance (NJPA) contract #113012-FRM

 

Further, funding is available in the 2013 DPW Capital Budget, Project #13PW13, Account #006-1490-100-98-70

 

  1. Request by Purchasing Clerk Opal McLean for approval for the following purchase order, issued to Ruble Vance Chevrolet:

 

a)Purchase Order #340999 for one (1) 2014 Chevy Tahoe SSV at a total cost of $36,754.00

 

Further, equipment is being purchased under Westchester County Contract #RFB WC-10140.

 

Further, funding is available in the 2013 DPW Capital Budget, Project #13PW13, Account #006-1490-100-98-70.
