A.        REPORT FROM MAYOR BELMONT ON DECISIONS MADE
FOLLOWING VILLAGE BOARD MEETING HELD ON JULY 18, 2013.
            None

B.        CORRESPONDENCE AND REPORTS:

C.        PUBLIC HEARING:
            None

D.        PERSONNEL:

E.         ACTIONS AND RESOLUTIONS:
            1.         Request by Purchasing Clerk Opal McLean for approval for PO#332279 to Hoffman Equipment, for the purchase of one (1) Case SR250 Skid Steer Loader with Attachments and Trailer for the Highway Department at a cost, including options, of $89,996.94.  Further, funding is available in the 2013 DPW Capital Budget Project #13PW13.

            2.         Request by the Purchasing Clerk for approval for PO#332280 to Vance Country Ford, for the purchase of two (2) 2014 Ford Escapes vehicles for the GTB Department at a total cost of $49,556.  Further, funding is available in the 2013 DPW Capital Budget Project #13PW13.

 

            3.         Request by the Purchasing Clerk for approval for PO#332282 to Argento and Sons for the purchase of two (2) John Deere Riding Mowers for the Parks Department at a total cost of $20,411.50.  Further, funding is available in the 2013 DPW Capital Budget Project #13PW13.

 

            4.         Request by the Purchasing Clerk for approval for PO#332288 to Gabrielli Truck Sales for the purchase of a 2014 Mack GU813/Leach 2R11125 Yard Rear Loader with Dual Tippers for the Sanitation Department at a total cost, including options, is $195,600.  (The equipment provided by Gabrielli Truck Sales, provided under Village of Pleasantville Contract No, 2013-07, VBR#2013-168.)

           5.         Request by Village Engineer Michael Amodeo for additional compensation in the amount of $15,000 to Dolph Rotfeld Engineering for work associated with the completion of the Hazard Mitigation Grant.  During the completion of the plan, FEMA revised the plan requirements and made the approval process much more stringent.  Work continued by DRE during this time resulting in additional charges above the approved contract.  An Approved Hazard Mitigation Plan is required by FEMA for the Town/Village of Harrison to be able to apply for federal funds. Further, funding is available in Capital Account #07PW15.
