Con Edison Customer Texting Information

A Message from Con Edison:  By the end of this year, we will be able to automatically enroll customers in texting. We'll send a weather warning and preparation information before the storm arrives. Customers will be able to opt out. Once customers are enrolled, for customers who report their outage to the company, we will send them system and safety updates, including their estimated time of restoration. You can use your cell phone to text REG to OUTAGE (688243) and follow the prompts. You will need your account number and confirm with your zip code. To retrieve your account number log in to My Account or check your bill. This information is also located on website at coned.com/text.
