1. Letter of Retirement from Village Sanitation employee, Nicholas Noviello, from his position in the Department of Public Works, effective April 28, 2018.
2. Request by Commissioner of Public Works, Anthony Robinson, for authorization to hire up to three part time employees in the Sanitation Department at an hourly rate of $13.00, effective April 30, 2018. Funding for these positions is available in the Sanitation Department Operating Budget.
- ACTIONS AND RESOLUTIONS
1. Request to set the date for a Public Hearing RE: Maintenance and Improvements to the Sanitary Sewer System for the May 17, 2018 Village Board Meeting.
2. Request by Commissioner of Public Works, Anthony Robinson, for approval of the Pavement Rehabilitation item from the 2018 Proposed Department of Public Works Capital Budget in the amount of $1,691,000. Funding from the 2017 Approved Capital Budget and CHIPS funding will be utilized for the initial $309,000 worth of work, resulting in a reduction of the $2 million requested in the budget proposal to $1,691,000. Approval of theses funds at this time will enable the department to continue pavement rehabilitation program as outlines in the Pavement Management Study performed in 2015.
3. Request by the Purchasing Department for approval for Purchase Order #381066, issued to Sealcoating, Inc., in the amount of $309,000.00 for pavement rehabilitation for various town roadways. Items will be purchased through NYS contract #PC68087. Funding is available in the 2016 capital account 16HW04, 2017 capital account 17HW01, and 2018 capital account 18HW05, account #006-5110-100-9850.
