A. REPORT FROM MAYOR DIONISIO ON DECISIONS MADE FOLLOWING THE VILLAGE BOARD MEETING HELD JANUARY 23, 2025

D. ACTIONS AND RESOLUTIONS

1. Request by, Treasurer, Maureen MacKenzie, to enter into an agreement with Capital Market Advisor, LLC for financial advisory services. The contract has been reviewed by the Law Department and determined to be in order. Further request for the Mayor to execute the contract.

2. Request by, Purchasing Department, for P.O. #450360 issued to Beam Mack Sales, for the purchase of a 2025 Mack Automated Sanitation Truck, under the Onondaga County Heavy Truck Class 8 Statewide Contract #10914. The cost of this vehicle including options, warranty, and delivery is $464,873.44. Funding is available in capital account #24SA16 and 15SA11.

3. Request by, Treasurer, Maureen MacKenzie, for a bond resolution subject to the Brentwood Brook Flood Plain Restoration Project - $500,000 Additional Bonds, subject to permissive referendum. (Roll Call Vote)

4. Request by, Chief of Police, John T. Vasta, to amend Village Code § 38-52, schedule XII: “Parking Prohibited at All Times” by adding the following restrictions.

5. Request by, Village Engineer, Michael J. Amodeo, for the Purchasing Department to advertise and receive bids for the Sanitary Sewer, Phase 2 Rehabilitation Project – Trenchless repairs. This work stems from the initial Village-wide Sanitary Sewer System Evaluation Survey (SSES) and involves trenchless sewer-lining to areas within the southern-half of the Village. The estimated project cost is $7,000,000, with partial funding from the NYS Water Infrastructure Improvement (WIIA) Grant, which awarded the Village up to $1,750,000.

6. Request by, Purchasing Department, for P.O. #450241 issued to Altec Industries, Inc. for the purchase of an Aerial Bucket Truck at a cost of $317,288.00. The vehicle will be purchased through Sourcewell contract #110421-ALT. Funding is available in capital account 24HW14.

7. Request by, Chief of Police, John T. Vasta, to amend Village Code 38-24, “Parking Prohibited Certain Hours” as follows the new proposed language is underlined.

§ 38-24. Parking prohibited certain hours

No person shall:

Park a vehicle between the hours specified in Schedule XV (§ 38-55) of any day, unless otherwise indicated, upon any of the highways or parts thereof described in said Schedule XV, attached to and made a part of this; and

Park upon any of the highways or parts thereof, described in Town Code Chapter 193, “Residential Parking System” attached to and made a part of this chapter, from 6:00 a.m. until 7:00 p.m. in the Downtown Residential Parking System Area (§ 193-3(A)(1)) and from 12:00 a.m. until 5:00 a.m. in the West Harrison Residential Parking System Area (§ 193-3(B)(1)) unless otherwise permitted.
