ACTIONS AND RESOLUTION

 

1.   Request by Mayor Belmont to schedule a Public Hearing regarding enacting a local law in relation to the hotel room occupancy tax for the February 16, 2017 Village Board Meeting.

2.   Request by Treasurer, Maureen MacKenzie, for authorization for the Village to lend funds to the Parking Authority in the amount of $43,000.00 to cover the costs associated with hiring Desman Associates for the purpose of a Revenue Assessment Parking Study and a Parking Meter Study, Specifications and Bid Process. The total cost for the two contracts is $60,000.00. At the Village Board Meeting of November 16, 2016, the board authorized $17,000.000 to be transferred to the Parking Authority leaving the $43,000.00 to be covered.

3.   Authorization is requested to approve Central Tree Service to prepare an arborist report in an amount not to exceed $1,000.00. This item was originally approved at the Town Board Meeting of December 1, 2016 and now we need a Village Board Resolution because the funding source is the Pilgrim Road Drainage District Capital Account Number 12DR02.
