Harrison Town Clerk

The office of the Town Clerk is the hub around which Town business revolves. The Town Clerk, elected every two years, is the Records Management Officer of the Town. Custodian of all the records, the Clerk is responsible for active files, disposition of inactive records and protection of the archives. As Secretary to the Town Board, the Clerk is responsible for preparing and maintaining the minutes of Town Board meetings. Freedom of Information Law (FOIL) requests pertaining to vital documents are administered by this office. 

The Town Clerk issues State licenses such as marriage, birth, death, hunting and fishing. The Clerk issues Town licenses and permits including, commuter parking, peddlers, solicitors and film.

The Town Clerk is a designated Marriage Officer, and as Registrar of Vital Statistics, issues and maintains all birth and death certificates and records in the Town.

Hours of Operation: 

Monday - Friday | 9:00am to 5:00pm Labor Day to Memorial Day

Monday – Friday l 9:00am to 4:00 pm Memorial Day to Labor Day

Marriage Licenses l By Appointment Only 9:00am to 3:30pm 

Hunting or Fishing Licenses l Call First -  Monday to Friday l 9:00am to 11:30 am and 2:00 pm to 3:30 pm
