Residential Parking System - West Harrison

West Harrison Parking Letter

Effective February 15, 2025

The purpose of the Residential Parking System is to prohibit non-residents from parking on the district streets overnight, thereby reserving overnight street parking for residents only. To accomplish this, West Harrison residents within the Parking System will need to obtain permits for all of their vehicles, free of charge.

The Parking System regulations will be in effect from Monday through Sunday, 12:00 a.m. to 5:00 a.m., but shall not be enforced: (i) on all Town/Village recognized holidays; (ii) for extended stays of visitors, whose vehicles are pre-registered and are provided with a temporary parking permit; and (iii) for caregivers, provided with a special permit upon application of the homeowner, with satisfactory proof of employment provided to the Town Clerk every (3) months.

Permits are issued through the Town Clerk's Office after providing proof of residency including: (i) copies of vehicle registration papers for each vehicle, listing the West Harrison resident and address (ii) a copy of a recent utility bill addressed to the same West Harrison resident and address.

Parking restrictions will take effect pm February 15, 2025 and permits should be obtained before then.
