Dear Valued Veteran and Family Members,
I hope this letter finds you well.
This is a crucial reminder about two important deadlines that directly impact our Veterans: The Veteran property tax reduction and the Veterans Banner Program.
The deadline to submit your DD214 and VA Disability Award letter to the Tax Assessor for a possible reduction in your 2025 taxes is May 1st 2024. If you are already receiving a reduction in your taxes as a veteran, I would encourage you to confirm your most recent award letter is on file with the assessor to ensure you are getting the maximum benefit allowed for veterans. The deadline to submit for a NEW Veteran Banner is Monday March 18th at 5pm. Please submit your photo and application to harrisonbanners@gmail.com.
