RECOGNITION BY SUPERVISOR BELMONT AND THE TOWN BOARD OF HARRISON FIRE DEPARTMENT PRESIDENT ANTHONY VALENTINOFOR HIS 50 YEARS OF DEDICATED SERVICE TO THE TOWN/VILLAGE OF HARRISON

A.  REPORT FROM SUPERVISOR BELMONT ON DECISIONS MADE AFTER THE TOWN BOARD RECONVENED FROM EXECUTIVE SESSION ON SEPTEMBER 18, 2014

 

1.Authorization to appoint Charles Huhne as a GTB Cleaner in the Department of Public Works.

2.Authorization to appoint Jeff Strati as an Auto Mechanic in the Equipment Maintenance Division of the Department of Public Works.

3.Authorization to appoint Dominick Cianci as a Laborer in the Department of Public Works effective July 17, 2014.

4.Authorization to approve 207-a disability benefits for Arthur Fusco IV.

5.Authorization to settle the claim in the matter of Geico Indemnity Co. a.s.o. McCaughey v. Town of Harrison.

D.  PERSONNEL:

1. Request by Commissioner of Public Works Anthony Robinson for authorization to hire up to 18 Part Time Seasonal employees at an hourly rate of $11.00, effective October 20, 2014. Funding for these positions is available in the Highway Operating Budget Account Number 003-5142-100-0172.

E.  ACTIONS AND RESOLUTIONS:

1.Request by Comptroller Maureen MacKenzie for a Budget Transfer to cover the cost of a Professional Services Contract with Langan Engineering.

 

2.Request by Director of Community Services for authorization to accept a $2,000 donation for the Harrison Food Pantry from an anonymous donor.

 

3.Request by Comptroller Maureen MacKenzie for Budget Transfers.
