VILLAGE BOARD AGENDA
MEETING OF THE VILLAGE BOARD OF THE TOWN OF HARRISON,
TO BE HELD AT THE MUNICIPAL BUILDING,
1 HEINEMAN PLACE, HARRISON, NY., IN WESTCHESTER COUNTY,
ON, THURSDAY, AUGUST 29, 2013 AT 7:30 PM,
EASTERN DAYLIGHT SAVINGS TIME

 

A.        REPORT FROM MAYOR BELMONT ON DECISIONS MADE 
            FOLLOWING VILLAGE BOARD MEETING HELD ON AUGUST 1, 2013.
            None

B.        CORRESPONDENCE AND REPORTS:
            None

C.        PUBLIC HEARING:
            None

D.        PERSONNEL:
           None

E.         ACTIONS AND RESOLUTIONS:
            1.         Request by Commissioner of Public Works Anthony Robinson for authorization for the Purchasing Department to advertise and receive bids for the Rental of 20-yard Containers for Solid Waste and Exempt Construction and Demolition Material.  Further, funding is available in the DPW Operating Budget.

            2.         Request by Purchasing Clerk Opal McLean for approval for Purchase Order #332533 to New York Bituminous Products Corp, for the 2013 Street Resurfacing Project for various Town roadways at a total cost of $801,075.49. Further, funding is available in the DPW Capital Budget Accounts 12HW04 and 13HW09.

             3.         Request by the Purchasing Clerk for approval of a Bid Award to Coppola Paving and Landscaping, 3830 Boston Rd, Bronx, NY, having met all the requirements of the specifications and being the lowest bidder for the installation of a concrete pad at the Recycling Center at the Gleason Place Garage, Harrison, NY, at their total net bid price of $67,400. Further, funding is available in the DPW Capital Budget Accounts 04HW15 and 13HW11. Further requested, to authorize the Law Department to prepare the contract and the Mayor to execute. Further requested, to authorize the Treasurer, upon receipt of claims to audit and upon audit the Mayor to pay same.

          4.         Request by Purchasing Clerk for approval of a Bid Award to Con Tech Construction Technologies, 28 Lakeview Dr, Yorktown Heights, NY, having met all the requirements of the specifications and being the lowest bidder for the Under-Drain and Curbing Installation at select locations within Purchase Hill Estates. Further, funding is available in Capital Accounts 12DR07 and 13 DR06. . Further requested, to authorize the Law Department to prepare the contract and the Mayor to execute. Further requested, to authorize the Treasurer, upon receipt of claims to audit and upon audit the Mayor to pay same.
