A. REPORT FROM SUPERVISOR DIONISIO ON DECISIONS MADE FOLLOWING TOWN BOARD MEETING HELD ON MARCH 3, 2022

 

  1. Authorization to settle the claim in the matter of Safety National to pay the Town of Harrison $150,000 and for them to pay 50% of any further medical expenses from a claim.
  2. Authorization to settle the tax certiorari in the matter of 10 Rockledge Road.
  3. Authorization to settle the tax certiorari in the matter of 2-4 Westchester Avenue
  4. Authorization for the 2021 Tax Levy placed upon the property located at 68 Park Avenue, Harrison, be removed from the tax roll for said property and any related assessment as a result of such levy be cancelled. 
  5. Authorization to approve the part-time hiring of Louise M. D’Onofrio as a Part-Time Intermediate Clerk in the Purchasing Department, effective March 7, 2022, at an hourly rate of pay of $25.00.

  1. PUBLIC HEARING

    1. Continuation of Public Hearing regarding proposed Local Law, adding chapter 206 entitled, “Solar Energy” of the Town Code of the Town of Harrison.

    2. CONTINUED TO APRIL 21ST MEETNIG: Continuation of the Public Hearing regarding the purpose of determining the amount and extent of the real property to be acquired by the Town of Harrison by condemnation on real property known as block 131, lot 52 and more commonly known as 226 Fremont Street, Harrison, NY 10528. The condemnation is necessary for the installation of a parking lot and related improvements of the subject property.

E. ACTIONS AND RESOLUTION

 

1. Request by Iwona Sterk, General Manager Old Oaks Country Club, to hold their annual Fourth of July fireworks display on club grounds on Sunday, July 3, 2022 with a rain date of Monday, July 4, 2022 beginning at 9:00 PM. This is subject to approval by the Acting Fire Marshal and the Chief of Police.

 

2. Request by Iwona Sterk, General Manager of Old Oaks Country Club, to host a fireworks display on club grounds for a private event on Saturday, September 17, 2022 beginning at 9:30 PM. This is subject to approval by the Acting Fire Marshal and the Chief of Police.

 

3. Request by Director of Community Services, Nina Marraccini, to accept the following donations made to the Harrison Food Pantry:

 

 

4. Request by Superintendent of Recreation, Gerry Salvo, to accept the following donations made to the Brentwood Fundraiser Project:
 

 

5. Request by Town Attorney, Frank Allegretti, to rescind Town Board Resolutions 2022-13 and 2022-14 in connection with the work and professional services previously approved for the matter of Muchmore Road/Lawrence Lane. This matter will be presented again to the Town Board in the near future with a review under SEQRA.

7. Request by Supervisor Dionisio to approve the quote from Oval Tennis, Inc. in the amount of $25,422.00, for reconditioning the tennis court at Harrison Meadows Country Club. Further request for the Purchasing Department to issue a Purchase Order to Oval Tennis, Inc. Funding is available in Capital Account 21SI08.

8. Request by Supervisor Dionisio to approve the quote and have Purchasing Department issue a Purchase Order to Ken Fusco Contracting, Inc. in the amount of $8,925.00 to repair and replace damaged gutters and fascia on the exterior of Harrison Meadows Country Club. Funding is available in Capital Account 21SI08.

9. Request by Supervisor Dionisio to approve the quote and have Purchasing Department issue a Purchase Order to Morano Group Landscapes in the amount of $8,500.for landscaping services to the back part of the Harrison Meadows Country Club. Funding is available in Capital Account 21SI08.

10. Request by Supervisor Dionisio to approve the quote and have Purchasing Department issue a Purchase Order to Ken Fusco Contracting, Inc. in the amount of $13,750.00 to replace the roof, which is leaking, at the Department of Public Works Garage on Casarella Way. Funding is available in Capital Account 21SI08.

11. Request by Supervisor Dionisio to approve the quote and have Purchasing Department issue a Purchase Order to Ken Fusco Contracting, Inc. in the amount of $6,435.00 to replace damaged siding and dormers at the Harrison Meadows Country Club. Funding is available in Capital Account 21SI08.

12. Request by Supervisor Dionisio to approve the quote and to authorize the Purchasing Department to issue a Purchase Order to KG+D Architects in the amount of $43,000 for necessary services to complete the SEQRA process for the New Recreation Center.
