A. REPORT FROM SUPERVISOR BELMONT ON DECISIONS MADE FOLLOWING TOWN BOARD MEETING HELD ON NOVEMBER 4, 2021

 

  1. Authorization to settle the claim in the matter of USAA a.s.o Wayne Keifer in the amount of $30,000 subject to a signed general release.
  2. Authorization to raise cap on legal fees to $100,000.00 in the matter of Willow Ridge Country Club.
  3. Authorization to raise cap on legal fees to $25,000.00 in the matter of Save the Sound.
  4. Authorization to appoint the Honorable Peter B. Skelos to hear disciplinary charges against Police Officer Frank Corvino.

C. PUBLIC HEARING

 

1. Continuation of the public hearing regarding the purpose of determining the amount and extent of the real property to be acquired by the Town of Harrison by condemnation on real property known as block 131, lot 52 and more commonly known as 226 Fremont Street, Harrison, NY 10528. The condemnation is necessary for the installation of a parking lot and related improvements of the subject property.

This is needed to start the process of getting the club operational for spring of 2022. Funds are available in the fund reserve balance.

 

B. Request by Mayor Belmont to approve the proposal of A+ Technology & Security Solutions, Inc. in the amount of $228,451.44. This is for a complete surveillance and security system at Harrison Meadows Country Club. Funding is available in Capital Account 21SI08.

 

8. Request from Mayor Belmont that the Harrison Community Center be renamed the Benjamin A. DeFonce Community Center.
