A. REPORT FROM MAYOR DIONISIO ON DECISIONS MADE FOLLOWING VILLAGE BOARD MEETING HELD JULY 12, 2023

1. Authorization to approve the promotion of Richard D’Onofrio from Sanitation Worker/Driver to MEO2.

2. Authorization to approve the promotion of Vito Forgione from Sanitation Worker/Driver to MEO2.

3. Authorization to approve the promotion of Michael Pellegrino from Sanitation Worker/Driver to MEO2.

4. Authorization to approve the promotion of Joseph Barbagallo from Sanitation Worker/Driver to MEO2.

E. ACTIONS AND RESOLUTION

1. Request by, Deputy Village Attorney, Andrea C. Rendo, for the authorization for the Inter-Municipal Agreement between the Village of Mamaroneck, the Town of Mamaroneck, the Town/Village of Harrison and the Westchester Joint Water Works in connection with potential funding for the Rye Lake Filtration Plant Project. Further request for the Mayor to execute the same.

2. Request by, Comptroller, Maureen MacKenzie, for the Board to approve new projects and amendments projects for the Westchester Joint Water Works.

3. Request to set the date for September 13, 2023 to hold a Public Hearing for funding of the Westchester Joint Water Works projects.

4. Request by, Village Engineer, Michael J. Amodeo, to hire ELQ Industries, Inc. for the installation of approximately 900 feet of concrete curbs along the west side of  Nelson Avenue, between Union & Mathews, at a cost not to exceed $76,500.00. The project bid pricing is based on ELQ Industries’ contract with Pelham Public School District. ELQ’s contract is public bid #6-2020/2021 – Installation/Service & Repair of Asphalt, Concrete, Drainage, Sewer, Curbing, Steps and Walls and is allowed to be used by other public governmental agencies and non-profit organizations. Funding for this contract is available in Capital Account #23HW03 – 2023 Road Resurfacing. Further request for the Purchasing Department to issue a purchase order payable to ELQ Industries at an amount not to exceed $76,500.00.

5. Request by, Village Engineer, Michael J. Amodeo, to hire Tectonic for geotechnical monitoring services for the New Recreation Center, at a cost not to exceed $20,000.00. Funding for this contract is available in the Capital Account #17RE15, New Recreation Facility. Further request for the Purchasing Department to issue a purchase order payable to Tectonic at an amount not to exceed $20,000.00.

6. Request by, Village Engineer, Michael J. Amodeo, to modify three purchase orders issued to ELQ Industries, Inc., for work at Harrison Meadows Country Club.

Purchase Order #421426: Decrease by $215,151.14 – from $1,002,575.00 to $787,423.86

Purchase Order #420957: Decrease by $215,151.14 – From $1,153,805.14 to $938,654.00

Purchase Order #420701: Increase by $430,302.28 – from $616,079.94 to $1,046,382.22

Modifications to sub-categories of Purchase Order #420701 are as follows:

Bar Prep Area: Increase by $35,975.68 – from $75,930.96 to $111,906.64

Exterior Building: Increase by $158,915.92 – from $166,012.62 to $324,928.54

Locker Rooms: Decrease by $132,694.71 – from $132,694.71 to $0.00

Snack Bar Building: Increase $233,182.66 – from $222,419.02 to $55,601.68

Tennis House: Decrease$19,022.63 – from $19,022.63 to $0.00

Variations in costs are due to premature scope details at time of original proposal, and unforeseen circumstances during the course of work. All work and costs are in accordance with Gordian ezIQC – City of White Plains contract #903239 Job Order Contracting (JOC) Services Contract for Region 1, General Contractor.
