E. ACTIONS AND RESOLUTION

1. Request by, Comptroller, Maureen MacKenzie, to appropriate Village Fund Balance and transfer to Sanitation Department Budget line Materials and Supplies 005-8160-100-0410. The funds will be used for the purchase of additional Sanitation Carts.

2. Request by, DPW General Foreman, Christopher Park, to expand the automated sanitation collection program to select areas in Downtown and West Harrison. This can be accomplished by adding additional stops to already existing routes. Further request for additional carts needed to replenish departmental stock. Further request for the Purchasing Department to issue a Purchase Order payable to Schaefer Plastics North America, LLC, in an amount not to exceed $47,580.18. Funding for this purchase is available in the Sanitation Operating Budget – Account # 005-8160-100-0410 – Materials and Supplies.

3. A) Request by, the Purchasing Department, to recind VBR 2021 – 102 for the purchase of two (2) 2022 Ford Transit Vans at a total cost of $59,477.40. Manufacturer could not fulfill order.

B) Request by, the Purchasing Department, for PO# 431141 issued to Falls Dodge, Inc., for the purchase of two (2) 2023 Chrysler Pacifica mini-vans for a total cost of $88,828.22. Vehicles will be purchased through NYS OGS mini-bid #0008959. Funding is available in Capital Account 20RP21 and 19RP18.

5. Request by, the Purchasing Department, for PO# 431147 issued to Beam Mack Sales for the purchase of a 2025 Mack Automated Sanitation Truck. The cost of this vehicle is $401,350.20 and funding is available in capital account 21PW23.

6. Request by, DPW General Foreman, Christopher Park, to approve the request by Rev. Thomas Byrnes, Pastor of St. Anthony of Padua Parish, to use a sanitation truck for the Festa on June 2, 2023 through June 4, 2023. The truck will be operated by DPW employees who are volunteering at the event.
