E. ACTIONS AND RESOLUTION

1. Request by, Department of Public Works General Foreman, Christopher Park, to increase sanitation fees as follows, effective January 1, 2023:

  • Recycling bins from $7.00 per bin to $15.00 per bin ($20 retail)
  • 96-gallon sanitation carts from $57.00 per cart to $75.00 per cart ($130 retail)
  • 64-gallon sanitation carts from $53.00 per cart to $70.00 per cart ($110 retail)
  • 32-gallon sanitation carts from $48.00 per cart to 65.00 per cart ($90 retail)

Recycling bins were last increased in 2008. Carts have not been increased since the program’s inception in 2013. The price increase will help offset the cost incurred by the Village to purchase these items.

2. Request to set the date for a Public Hearing for the 2023 Preliminary Budget for December 1, 2022.
