MEETING OF THE VILLAGE BOARD OF THE VILLAGE OF HARRISON

TO BE HELD AT THE MUNICIPAL BUILDING

  1. REPORT FROM MAYOR BELMONT ON DECISIONS MADE FOLLOWING VILLAGE BOARD MEETING HELD ON JUNE 16, 2016

 

1.   Authorization to approve the Westchester Joint Water Works Capital projects as defined by the Westchester Joint Water Works Board Authorized Capital Projects.

2.   Authorization of an increase in expenditures for the Westchester Joint Water Works N. Barry Ave/Macy Rd 16 inch Water main Project from $1,355,000.00 to $2,710,000.00 and further that the cost of such expenditure be funded through a Bond issued by the Village.

  1. ACTIONS AND RESOLUTION

 

1.   Request by Village Engineer Michael Amodeo for authorization for Change Order #3 to the contract with Con-Tech Construstion for work related to the 2013 Sidewalk Replacement Contract at an amount not to exceed $100,000.00.  Further authorization is requested for the Law Department to increase upset limit of the contract by $100,000.00 from $477,600.00 to $577,600.00.  Further authorization is requested for the Purchasing Department to increase Purchase Order #333240 by $100,000.00 from $477,600.00 to $577,600.00.  Funding for this change order is available in the 2016 Approved Department of Public Works Capital Plan.

 

2.   Request by the Purchasing Department to advertise and receive bids for the Pilgrim Road Drainage District Improvements Project.

 

3.   Request by Treasurer Maureen MacKenzie for a Bond Resolution in the amount of $500,000.00 for the Police Department Capital Plan.  The Police Department Capital Plan was approved by the Village Board previously.  Back up to follow.

 

4.   Request by the Purchasing Department for authorization to issue Purchase Order #362075 to Beam Mack Sales for the purchase of a 2017 Mack/Pac Mor split body recycling truck through Onondaga County Contract #7823.  Total cost is $250,301.04. 

 

5a. Request by the Purchasing Department for authorization to issue Purchase Order #362079 to Mohawk Valley Freightliner, for the purchase of three (3) 6-wheel dump truck chassis’ through Onondaga County Contract #7823.  Total cost is $364,842.48.  Funding is available in the 2016 Capital Project #16HW08 account #006-5130-100-9875. 

 

5b. Request by the Purchasing Department for authorization to issue Purchase Order #362080 to Hederson Products, for the purchase of three (3) stainless steel multi-task bodies through Onondaga County Contract #7823.  Total cost is $93,958.00.  Funding is available in the 2016 Capital Project #16HW08 account #006-5130-100-9875.  

 

6.   Request by the Purchasing Department for authorization to issue Purchase Order #362040 to Taser International, in the amount of $25,554.44 for the purchase of tasers.  Funding is available in the 2016 Capital Budget 16PO11, account #006-3120-100-98-70.

 

7.   Request by Chief of Police Anthony Marraccini for authorization to reject all bids for the purchase of four (4) 2016 Police FLHP Road King Harley Davidson Motorcycles.  Further authorization is requested for the Purchasing Department to advertise and receive bids for the purchase of four (4) 2017 Police FLHP Road King Harley Davidson Motorcycles.  Funding is available in the 2015 PT08 Capital Budget.

 

8.   Request by the Purchasing Department for authorization to issue Purchase Order #361700 to T.C.D Cellular Communications, in the amount of $34,420.80, for the purchase of four (4) Rhino tablets.  Funding is available in Police Capital Budget 12PO23 account #0063120-100-98-70.

 

9.   Request by Treasurer Maureen MacKenzie to schedule a Public Hearing RE: The Consolidated Water District – Westchester Joint Water Works – Increase in Cost Barry Avenue/Macy Road Water Main for the August 18, 2016 Village Board Meeting.
