  1. REPORT FROM SUPERVISOR BELMONT ON DECISIONS MADE FOLLOWING TOWN BOARD MEETING HELD ON OCTOBER 14, 2015

 

1.Autorization to raise the cap on legal fees in he matter of Casciano v Town of Harrison to $25,000.00

2.Authorization to pay Luigi Annunziata for services rendered at night court session on September 16, 2015 at a rate of $20 per hour.  Funding is available in budget line 001-1110-100-0130.

1.Monthly report by the Humane Society for September 2015.

 

C.  PUBLIC HEARING:

           

1.   Continuation of Public Hearing RE: Special Exception Use Permit for Harrison Playhouse Lofts, located at 227-239 Harrison Avenue, Harrison, New York 10528

 

D.  PERSONNEL:

 

1.   Request by Chief of Police Anthony Marraccini to appoint Gaetana Iori as an alternate crossing guard at a rate of $20.29 per hour, effective immediately.

3.   Request by Chief of Police Anthony Marraccini to hire Phillip Tancora to the part time availability list at the rate of $17.00 per hour, effective immediately.

4.   Request by Joseph Modafferi of JMC Planning Engineering Landscape Architecture & Land Surveying, PLLC to schedule a Public Hearing RE: A Special Exception Use Permit for the Proposed Linear Accelerator Expansion at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center, 500 Westchester Avenue.  Mr. Modafferi is requesting the public hearing be scheduled for the November 18, 2015 Town Board Meeting.  Planning Board approval has been granted.

 

5.   Request by Comptroller Maureen MacKenzie for authorization to accept the following donation for the Holiday Project:

 

            James and Roberta Cemprola                                     $150.00

 

Total Holiday Project 2015 donations received to date is $150.00.

 

6.   Request by Chief of Police Anthony Marraccini to approve the payment of the Sarrazin Architecture Invoice in the amount of $1,265.62.  This was for the services rendered during our attempt to revise the plan for the Emergency Operating Center in order to be able to complete this project with our original budget.

 

7.   Request by Peter Petriccione of H2M Water, 538 Broad Hollow Road, Melville, NY 11747, to schedule a Public Hearing RE: A Special Exception Use Permit for Westchester Joint Water Works and the installation of standby generators at the Rye Lake Pump Station.  Mr. Petriccione is requesting the public hearing be scheduled for the November 18, 2015 Town Board Meeting.  Planning Board approval has been granted.

 

8.   Request by Coordinator of Computer Services Michael Piccini to auction the following vehicle online using the online auction company, Auctions International, at no cost to the town:

9.   Request by David Steinmetz of Zarin & Steinmetz, to schedule a Public Hearing RE: A Special Exception Use Permit for Westchester Country Club Tennis Court Enclosure.  Mr. Steinmetz is requesting the public hearing be scheduled for the November 18, 2015 Town Board Meeting.  Planning Board approval has been granted.

10. Request from Library Director Galina Chernykh, to allow HBO to film in the Library for their new show “Crashing”.  The filming is scheduled for Friday, November 6, 2015 from 2-4 PM.  There will be no obstruction for the Library services.  The production company will make a $1,000.00 donation to the Harrison Public Library.

 

11. Request by Receiver of Taxes Nancy Masi for authorization of the transfer of water rent arrears from WJWW in the amount of $194,493.74 to the 2015 Tax Roll and the 2016 Town/Village Tax Bills of the corresponding properties.
