A. REPORT FROM SUPERVISOR BELMONT ON DECISIONS MADE FOLLOWING TOWN BOARD MEETING HELD ON MAY 16,  2019

 

  1. Suspension of driving privileges of Vito Faga Jr., Second Assistant Chief of the Harrison Volunteer Fire Department, Fire District #2 pending further review.
  2. Authorization to settle the Tax Certiorari in the matter of Century Country Club.
  3. Authorization to get an appraisal for the property located at 22 & 26 Calvert Street in an amount not to exceed $5,000.
  4. Authorization to enter into a Forbearance Agreement with VRC Development Company LLC.

1. Monthly report by the Superintendent of Recreation for April, 2019.

2. Request by Director of Community Services, Nina Marraccini, to accept the following donations for the Harrison Food Pantry:

3. Request by Danny Chiltern for himself and his neighbors to host a Block Party on Glendale Road on Saturday, July 13th, 2019 from 4PM to 10PM. Insurance will be submitted.

 

4. Request by Town Assessor, Mark Heinbockel, to attend a seminar on appraising at Cornell University from Tuesday, July 16th, to Friday, July 19th, 2019 at a cost not to exceed $1,200. This is a budgeted item.

 

5. Request by Sales & Catering Manager, Keara Sammon of Westchester Country Club to host a fireworks display for a wedding on club grounds on Saturday, June 8th, 2019 at 9:00PM. Insurance will be submitted.

 

6. Request by Superintendent of Recreation, Gerry Salvo, for authorization to accept the following donations for the Brentwood Fundraiser Project:

7. Request by Chief of Police, Joseph Yasinksi, for the Harrison Police Department to accept a donation of $100.00 from Daniel and Debra Alpert. The check will be deposited in the Harrison Donation Account line #009-0000-786-0000.

 

8. Request by Town Engineer, Michael Amodeo, to accept a $45,000.00 Grant from National Fish and Wildlife Foundation for Sustainability Planning and to develop a drainage manual for the Town of Harrison.

 

9. Request by Town Engineer, Michael Amodeo, for acceptance of the Annual MS4 Stormwater Report for the report year ending March 9, 2019.

 

10. A. Request by Lou Arlotta for authorization to build the Walt Mallinson 9/11Memorial in Ma Riis Park within the vicinity of the War Memorial and that the cost of the Memorial be funded by donations.

B. Request by Comptroller, Maureen MacKenzie, for authorization to establish an account within the Trust and Agency Fund titled 9/11 Memorial Ma Riis Park.

 

11. Request by Town Engineer, Michael Amodeo, for a change order to professional services contract with Cosentino Architecture, PLLC for construction administration work associated with the Library Roof Replacement at a cost not to exceed $700.00. Further request for the Law Department to increase the upset limit of the contract by $700.00 from $4,809.00 to $5,509.00. Further request for the Purchasing Department to increase Purchase Order #382173 by $700.00 from $4,809.00 to $5,509.00. Funding for this contract is available in the Library Building Maintenance account #002-7410-100-0401.
