PRESENTATION OF THE 2021 TENTATIVE BUDGET BY THE TOWN CLERK

 

A. REPORT FROM SUPERVISOR BELMONT ON DECISIONS MADE FOLLOWING TOWN BOARD MEETING HELD ON OCTOBER 14, 2020

 

1. Authorization to raise cap on legal fees in the Matter of Aklog vs. Town of Harrison in the amount of $50,000.00.

C. PUBLIC HEARING

 

1. Public Hearing regarding School of the Holy Child Final Special Exception Use permit approval for 2225 Westchester Avenue.

 

2. CONTINUED TO THE NOVEMBER 18, 2020 MEETING

Continuation of the Public Hearing regarding the purpose of determining the amount and extent of the real property to be acquired by the Town of Harrison by condemnation on real property known as Block 131, Lot 52 and more commonly known as 226 Fremont Street, Harrison, NY 10528. The condemnation is necessary for the installation of a parking lot and related improvements of the subject property.

E. ACTIONS AND RESOLUTION

 

1. Request to set the date to hold a Public Hearing for the 2021 Preliminary Budget for December 3, 2020.

 

2. Request to set the date for a Public Hearing on December 3rd, 2020 for the Sewer Rent Fee for the following fiscal year.

 

3. Request by Library Director, Galina Chernykh, to transfer the following funds, totaling $25,000.00:

$20,000.00 from Account #002-7410-100-0130 to #002-7410-100-0401

$5,000.00 from Account #002-7410-100-0130 to #002-7410-100-0403

 

4. Request by Deputy Village Attorney, Andrea Rendo, to approve the two-year contract between Ace Trapping & Exterminating and Town of Harrison, starting November 1, 2020 and ending October 31, 2022. It has been reviewed and deemed to be in order by the Law Department.

 

5.Request by Joseph P. Modafferi Jr. of JMC Planning Engineering Landscape Architecture & Land Surveying PLLC, on behalf of Saxon Woods MOB LLC, to set the date for a Public Hearing regarding proposed building entry improvements located at 550 & 600 Mamaroneck Avenue.

 

6. Request by Chief of Police, John Vasta, to approve the contract with New York State for the Town of Harrison’s Police Traffic Services Grant and NYSGTSC (PTS-2021-Harrison Town PD-00012-(060). The contact has been reviewed by the Law Department and deemed to be in order. Further request that the Supervisor execute the contract.

 

7. Request by Chief of Police, John Vasta, to approve the contract with Westchester County Department of Information Technology for the use of certain County equipment for the purpose of facilitating participation by the municipal entity in the County’s Hotline; License Agreement No. IT-1620. The contract has been reviewed by the Law Department and deemed to be found in order. Further request that the Mayor allow the Chief to sign the contract on behalf of the Town and to make it retroactive to June 24, 2020 as stated on the agreement.

 

8. Request by the Chief of Police, John Vasta, to donate the following vehicles to the Harrison Fire Department for training purposes. Once the training is over, these vehicles will be recycled, as they have been “totaled” an no longer operational:

9. Request by Building Inspector, Rocco Germani, to reimburse Suzanne Fuller for $1,016.25, who has satisfactorily completed courses in conjunction with her Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Public Administration

10. Request by Receiver of Taxes, Michael Giordano, for authorization of the transfer of water rent arrears from WJWW in the amount of $194,459.83 to the 2020 Tax Roll and the 2021 Town/Village Tax Bills of the corresponding properties.
