      1. Authorization to raise the cap on legal fees for Vincent J. Acests Esq., in the matter of Dwyer v. the Town of Harrison to $60,000.

      2.  Authorization to terminate §207-A Benefits of a firefighter, and to schedule a hearing if requested, and to designate a hearing officer.

      3.  Authorization to settle the claim in the matter of Virginia Dwyer v. Town of Harrison in the amount of $200,000.

      4.  Authorization to settle the claim of New York Central Mutual Insurance Co. as subrogee of Virginia Dwyer v. Town of Harrison in the amount of $10,000.

1.   Request by Personnel Manager, Debra Scocchera, to add the following onto the seasonal appointment list for Recreation, effective June 1, 2017.

                                    Nolan Fitzgerald         $9.00 hourly

                                    Angela Fazzino           $10.00 hourly

 

2.   Request by Personnel Manager, Debra Scocchera, to approve an additional list of Life Guards for the 2017 Pool season, effective the May pool opening through the first week of September 2017.

 

3.   Request by Perssonel Manager, Debra Scocchera, to approve an additional list of Camp Counselors for the 2017 Camp Season, effective July 3 through the week of August 11, 2017.

  1. ACTIONS AND RESOLUTION

1.   Request by Iwona Sterk of Old Oaks Country Club for authorization to hold a fireworks show on September 16, 2017 as part of a wedding celebration. The duration of the show will be 8-10 minutes starting at 10pm. This is subject to approval by the Acting Fire Marshal and the Chief of Police. 

 

 

2.   Request by Director of Community Services, Nina Marraccini, to accept the following donations for the Harrison Food Pantry:

                                    $2,000 from an anonymous donor

                                    $2,000 from an anonymous donor

                                    $25 from Elena Tyvrovskaia and Sergei Schwartz    

 

3.   Request by Mike Charitou of KMAN Realty LLC., for authorization for the Planning Board to review a Cluster Subdivision application located at 390 Mamaroneck Avenue, block 482, lot 16 pursuant to chapter 235.10.1 of the Town Code.

 

4.   Request by West Harrison Fire Department Chief, Frank Forgione, for himself and department members to attend the Annual New York State Association of Fire Chiefs Convention in Verona, NY from June 14, 2017-June 17, 2017. The cost of the Convention is $8,000. Funding is available in account #010-3410-100-0406.

 

5.   Request by Superintendent of Recreation, Gerry Salvo, to accept the donation of $1,500 from The College of Mount Saint Vincent.

 

6.   Request by Personnel Manager, Debra Scocchera, for approval of the Town/Village of Harrison Plan sponsor agreement for BPAS Actuarial and Pension Services for the plan year 2018. The fee due for this service is $3,500. Funding is available in Account #001-1900-100-4407.

 

7.   Notification by Superintendent of Recreation Gerry Salvo that the Citizen of the Year Committee is now taking nominations for the 2017 Citizen of the Year Award to be presented at the It’s Great to Live in Harrison Celebration/Columbus Day Observance on Monday, October 9, 2017.  Nominations can be sent to the Citizen of the Year Committee, c/o Gerry Salvo, One Heineman Place, Harrison, New York 10528.  Nominations must be received by September 1, 2017.

 

8.   Request by Superintendent of Recreation, Gerry Salvo, for authorization to accept the following donations for the Brentwood Fundraiser Project:

9.   Request by Superintendent of Recreation, Gerry Salvo, for authorization to have Joseph Bulfamante & Sons, Inc. Landscaping Company to implement a monthly maintenance program for the newly renovated Brentwood Field.  Payment for this maintenance program will be from donations collected. All necessary insurance paperwork for Joseph Bulfamante & Sons, Inc. Landscaping Company has been submitted. Funds via collected donations to come from Account #096-7020-100-7024.

 

10. Request by Superintendent of Recreation, Gerry Salvo, for authorization to make payments to Joseph Bulfamante & Sons, Inc. Landscaping Company in the amount of $16,000 for the field renovations performed at the Brentwood Baseball Field. Funds via collected donations to come from Account #096-7020-100-7024.
