A.  REPORT FROM SUPERVISOR BELMONT ON DECISIONS MADE FOLLOWING VILLAGE BOARD MEETING HELD ON JUNE 18, 2020

C. PUBLIC HEARING

1. Continuation of Public Hearing regarding Proposed Local Law regarding Amending Chapter 5 entitled “Ethics, Code of” by repealing and replacing Section 5-4 entitled “Representation of private interests” of the Village Code of the Village of Harrison.

E. ACTIONS AND RESOLUTION

 

1. Request by Village Engineer, Michael Amodeo, to hire ELQ Industries to install drainage along Columbus Avenue in West Harrison between Washington Street and Jefferson Street at a cost not to exceed $300,000.00. Funding for this contract is available in Account #19DR11. Further request for the Purchasing Department to issue a Purchase Order payable to ELQ Industries at an amount not to exceed $300,000.00.

 

2. Request by Chief of Police, John Vasta, to add two stop signs at the intersection of Fremont Street and Oak Street, making this intersection a “Stop Intersection” under the Village Code of Harrison. The additional signage would regulate traffic flowing both north and south on Oak Street and would improve safety for both vehicular and pedestrian traffic.

 

3. Request by Library Director, Galina Chernykh, for approval of the 2020 Library Capital Budget of $75,000 for window replacement at the West Harrison Branch.

 

4. Request by Commissioner of Public Works, Anthony Robinson, for approval of the DPW Pavement Preservation Program of the 2020 Capital Budget.

 

5. Request by Village Attorney, Jonathan Kraut, to approve the proposed Stormwater Control Facility Easement and Maintenance Agreement between the Town/Village of Harrison and Patricia Court HOA, Inc. (Patricia Court Subdivision). It has been reviewed by the Law Department. Further request for the Mayor to execute the same.

 

6. Request by Village Attorney, Jonathan Kraut, to approve the proposed Easement Agreement between the Town/Village of Harrison and the Corporation of the Presiding Bishop of the Church Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. The Law Department has reviewed the said Agreement and has consulted the Town Engineer. Further request that the Mayor execute the same.
