A. REPORT FROM SUPERVISOR BELMONT ON DECISIONS MADE FOLLOWING TOWN BOARD MEETING HELD ON NOVEMBER 7,  2019

 

1. Authorization to settle the claim in the matter of Pasquale DiPalma v. Town of Harrison in an amount up to $2,500.

2. Authorization to settle the claim in the matter of Cristiano v. Town of Harrison in an amount of $9,103.50.

3. Authorization to settle the claim in the matter of Mendez v. Town of Harrison in an amount of $12,542.35.

4. Authorization to raise cap on legal fees in the matter of PEPA v. Town of Harrison to $60,000.

5. Authorization to enter into a Memorandum of Agreement with the CSEA Local 1000 and the Town of Harrison for the years 2018 through 2022.

4. Request by Director of Community Services, Nina Marraccini, to accept the following donations for the Harrison Food Pantry:

5. Request by Superintendent of Recreation, Gerry Salvo, to accept a donation of $1,400.00 from the Harrison Festival Japanese Committee to be used for the Celebration Fund.

 

6. Request to set the date for a Public Hearing on December 5th, 2019 for the Sewer Rent Fee for the following fiscal year.

 

7. Request by Building Inspector, Rocco Germani, to reimburse $960.00 to Suzanne Fuller, who has satisfactorily completed courses in conjunction with her Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Public Administration.

 

8. Notification of changes to the 2020 Tentative Budget read in by Comptroller, Maureen MacKenzie. 

 

9. Request by Lieutenant John Vasta to accept a donation of $600.00 from the Harrison Festival Japanese Committee. This check will be deposited in the Police Donation Account line #009-0000-786-0000.

10. Request by Town Clerk, Jackie Greer, to pay the sum of $200.00 to each election inspector to work for the Special Election on Tuesday, December 10, 2019 from 3:00PM to 9:00PM at the Fire District #2 fire house located at 2016 Harrison Avenue. The purpose of the Referendum is for the Establishment of a Service Award Program for Active Volunteer Firefighter Members of the Harrison Fire Department. Funding is available in the 011-3411-100-0439 Fire District #2 Referendum Account.
