PRESENTATION BY WESTCHESTER JOINT WATER WORKS ON PROJECTS AND WATER RATES

  1. REPORT FROM SUPERVISOR BELMONT ON DECISIONS MADE

FOLLOWING TOWN BOARD MEETING HELD ON AUGUST 17, 2017

 

1. Authorization to appoint Joseph Stout to the Planning Board for a seven year term.

2.   Authorization to settle the claim in the matter of Kusumaker v. Town of Harrison in the amount of $756.65 subject to claimant signing a general release.

3.   Authorization to settle the claim in the matter of Schnapp v. Town of Harrison in the amount of $402.66 subject to claimant signing a general release.

4.   Authorization to amend Town Board Resolution #2017 – 229 to increase the dollar amount from $3,500 to $15,500 paid to BPAS Actuarial and Pension Services for the plan year 2018.

5.   Authorization to settle the tax certiorari in the matter of 1 Gannett Drive, Block 631, Lot 12.

6.   Authorization to purchase the property located at 260 Harrison Avenue.

1.   Monthly report by the Chief of Police for July 2017.

2.   Monthly report by the Superintendent of Recreation for July 2017.

 

  1. PUBLIC HEARING

 

1. Public Hearing RE: 68 Park Avenue, Block 0072 Lot 4. This structure has been declared unsafe and dangerous for occupancy.

 

  1. PERSONNEL

 

1.   Request by Personnel Manager, Debra Scocchera, for approval to add Kristopher Schuck to the list of part-time Chauffers at $11.00 hourly, with a work week not to exceed 20 hours. This application and appointment has gone through Civil Service process and has been approved.

 

  1. ACTIONS AND RESOLUTION

 

1.   Request by Comptroller, Maureen MacKenzie, for approval of the following budget modification for the Donations that were received for Fireworks 2017:

2.   Request by Comptroller, Maureen MacKenzie, for approval of the following budget transfer:

This transfer is for a new/replacement shredder in our Town Justice Department.                                                               

3.   Request by Deputy Village Attorney, Andrea Rendo, for approval of an Agreement with Lightower Fiber Networks II for consent to transfer control of Lightower Fiber Network to Crown Castle International. Lightower Fiber Networks currently holds a Franchise Agreement with the Town.

 

4.   Request by Superintendent of Recreation, Gerry Salvo, for authorization for the Supervisor to sign the Westchester County Health Department Certificate for the “It’s Great to Live in Harrison Celebration Festival.”

5.   Request by Eric Opdyke, Race Director for the Jarden Westchester Triathlon, for authorization to use roadways through the Town/Village of Harrison.  Police officers are required at various posts during the bike portion of the triathlon taking place on Sunday September 24, 2017. Insurance will be submitted.

 

6.   Request by Steven Vando of Brae Burn Country Club for approval to hold a fireworks display on club grounds on September 24, 2017 at 8:15pm (rain date: October 1, 2017 at 8:00pm). This is subject to approval by the Acting Fire Marshal and the Chief of Police.
